You can either find a gold bearing stream and spend many hours in the frigid water looking for a few flakes of gold, or you can simply purchase one of our beautiful lockets filled with natural Alaskan gold. We purchase gold directly from the miner, clean it and assemble the jewelry in our workshop here in Anchorage. You can even add a few of your own flakes if you are lucky enough to have found some. Nugget lockets are a nice way to display gold flakes, they are available in several shapes and many sizes. The outer bezel is made of a "gold filled" material, this is a layer of gold bonded to a layer of base metal, it is less expensive than our solid gold frames. They come packaged in a gift box with an 18 inch gold plated chain. These come in many sizes, I have 3 sizes available now in this round style, the "mini" (shown) is about 13mm or 1/2 inch across. We also have other shapes, bezel styles and bezel materials available.
