This authentic Alaskan Native ulu knife was handcrafted by artist Leroy Barlip III. He Combines art and craftsmanship for a beautiful but useful tool. This knife features a handle made of an Ancient Alaskan artifact, it was used as part of the runner of a dog sled several hundred years ago. It is walrus ivory and was found in the tundra near Nome. It comes with a nice base so you can display it in your kitchen when not in use.
